Happy Thanksgiving

It's not the first but the second blog. But the first one didn't work out too well.

So if at first you don't succeed try again.

Anyway, we hope everyone had a great day on Thursday. Too much food and never enough conversation. We tried o stay at the table longer than it took to cook the food. We fell a couple hours short. Our guests included Mary's friend Gerry Shannon and her family, along a friend of Gerry's, her daughter and Joe's roommate. Our Feast included besides the usual, turnips and beets, squash and sweet potatoes, rolls and turkey. Did someone mention pies? Or Grandma's cranberry/sherbert cocktail? No frozen fruit salad though.

We talked to Grandma and David on the big day. David said he had a house full, as Jeffrey and Melody had driven up for the week and Matthew and Tina and Oliver came over as well.

Rounded out with a game of chess, some football and Godfather on tv, and we had pretty much a perfect day.

And now, with the beauty of these blogs, you can tell us about your day!
